"ESF: authenticity" "Ski comfortably"

About

Originally from the Hautes Alpes, I started skiing before I even knew how to walk and have never stopped.

I have been sharing my passion for skiing through teaching for 36 years now. In a methodical, fun and empathic way, I ensure my students are confident, make progress and enjoy themselves.

I continued to practice ski by competing and achieved some regional results, but it is the love of skiing and the mountains that inspired me to become an instructor.

I particularly appreciate the sensation of freedom that skiing provides and the space and beauty of the 3 valleys that provides a home for this sport.

I arrived at ESF La Tania at its creation in1992, and the resort (station) has been evolving ever since over the last 26 years.

My best teaching memories come from the smiles and gratitude of my students.

I skied in Switzerland and Italy but my favourite pistes (runs) and favourite spots are in the Courchevel / La Tania area: La Combe des Pylônes and the Dou des Lanches.

When I am not teaching skiing, I am a mountain guide.

Other passions outside skiing include: surfing, sailing and hiking.

The most beautiful tracks in the world, for me, are: La Grave in Meije, Le Tunel in Alpe d'huez, Grand Couloir in Courchevel, Mur des Suisses in Avoriaz and Grande Pente in Les Arcs.
