Frequently Asked Questions

For any bookings, please take note of our general terms and conditions of sale.

HOW TO RESERVE LESSONS?

  • Online via our website: payment (in full) secured by credit card (click on the small trolleys).
    You will receive by e-mail your booking confirmation and your e-course ticket (s).
    Tickets must be presented to your instructor on the first lesson. We kindly ask you to print your children E-tickets which must be given to the ski instructors.
  • By e-mail: please use the Contact link to make your request. Please specify the date of your stay and the type of course.
    A quote will be sent to your mailbox.
    Payment in full at the time of booking (by debit/credit card via a secure online payment link included in the quote).
    Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you by e-mail your booking confirmation and your / e-course tickets.
    Tickets must be presented to your instructor on the first day of lessons. We kindly ask you to print your children E-tickets which must be given to the ski instructors.

HOW TO BOOK LUNCHTIME MEALS?

For a smooth and successful running of lessons and ESF, we ask you to comply with the following rules:

THE SUCCESS OF LESSONS IS DOWN TO BOTH THE INSTRUCTOR AND YOU

  • Arrive at your designated meeting place with plenty of time before the start of your lesson. Meeting places are specified on your lesson card/ticket. 
  • You must have your card at all lessons even private lessons. If you have a lift pass, your magnetic card must be placed in the left pocket of your jacket which facilitates the passage of the controls of each lift. 
  • Participation in a lesson does not exclude a certain autonomy of the student. The pupil must therefore personally take care of his own safety and of others.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • The holidays of Christmas / New Year, as well as the holidays of February are busy periods
  • Make your reservations as early as possible to ensure availability on our courses.  
  • Programs and schedules can be modified during the season by the ESF management.  
  • The ESF declines any responsibility for material or bodily accidents that may occur to students.  
  • Climatic conditions and breakdowns of ski lifts or other accidents can not be attributed to the instructors. Actual lesson time may be reduced for reasons beyond our control. No refund will be made (see our general conditions).

INSURANCE

Students are not insured by the ESF. To avoid the risks and financial problems of an accident, we advise you to take the Carré Neige "Alpin" (which covers you during your stay) or the Carré Neige "Integral" (which covers you before and during your stay).

WHAT INSURANCE TO TAKE IN WINTER SPORTS?

The ESF does not insure its students, we recommend you to opt for the "Carré Neige Alpin" which is a specific insurance that covers you in case of accident or illness during your stay or the "Carré Neige Intégral" which covers you before and during your stay:

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY STAY?

Within 15 days before the start of your stay:
  • If you have subscribed to personal cancellation insurance (in particular, that proposed by the E.S.F. when purchasing online) please refer to the insurance conditions.  
  • If you have not subscribed to cancellation insurance and provided there is a legitimate reason (inability to ski certified by a medical certificate covering the period of the service): the E.S.F. shall propose to postpone the service if possible, and if not shall reimburse all sums paid.  
  • In other cases: the E.S.F. shall withhold 50% of the price paid.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED BY ESF LA TANIA?

Our online booking accepts all major debit / credit cards except Diner's Club.

I CANNOT ACCESS THE PAYMENT PAGE AFTER RESERVING MY LESSON

We advise you to lower the security level of your browser and disable at the time of the reservation, your firewall.

IS EQUIPMENT INCLUDED IN LESSONS?

The ESF does not provide ski equipment.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE MESSAGES WHEN I TRY TO BOOK?

  • Courses are complete :this means that you have exceeded the deadline to make your reservation (online sales stop at 8 days before, you will need to contact the ESF office and we will inform you of our availability or you have chosen the wrong category in relation to the date of birth of the student.
  • The age of the student does not correspond to the chosen course: We calculate the number of months between the date of birth and the date of the course to check if the courses correspond to the age of your child. For Piou Piou, the child must be between 36 and 47 months old and for the Ourson lessons the child must be at least 4 years old.
  • No courses sold correspond to the age of the student : try to enter Saturday on the start date of your stay to make sure there are no other possibilities.
  • There is no course available for this start date but there may be other possibilities for other days of the week : try to enter the Saturday as the start date of stay to check that there are no other possibilities
